Sello Moloko and Thabo Leeuw represented Thesele on the Boards of both Makalani Holdings and Makalani Management Company (“Makalani Manco”) respectively. A key driver to the success of Makalani Holdings is its recognition as a Financial Sector Charter (FSC) compliant entity and Thesele played a critical role in Makalani achieving its FSC accreditation as an empowerment financing vehicle. Following a strategic review by all shareholders of Makalani Manco, we have exited this investment, leaving Rand Merchant Bank as the sole shareholder.
